Happy Friday everyone and Happy Memorial Day weekend! While most of us will be spending time with family, enjoying the sun and hitting the beach, we also need to take the time to remember all of those who've paved the way for us to celebrate this holiday and to be able to live in the land of the free. To all of those who have served or have family members that served, we thank you. Here are some of our favorites...
1. I (Faith) had a little DIY project going on. Both bases are from HomeGoods and the succulents were from a local
nursery. Placing succulents all over the house just livens up the place. I
saw these ideas in a magazine and it cost around $100, yeah no that's
ridiculous. For both of these pieces, the total was $32! (and this
"Tea" pot was cuter!)
2. Zoo fun: if you follow us on Instagram you might have seen we had so much fun at the philly zoo with little man. It's one of the greatest feelings seeing and experiencing his excitement. And it's not so bad that we get to act like kids again. Did you know that the Philadelphia Zoo is claimed to be the oldest zoo in the US? Random fact.
3. 80s party: Eric and I (Sierra) got invited to an 80s party. So when you're pregnant and 80s is the theme, why not go all out! Eric is such a good sport and we had a lot of fun rocking our neon jazzercise wear. The crazy part is we didn't have a lot of trouble finding these bright options. And yes, my hair is crimped. Why I still have a crimper, well that's another story for another day #crimpedhairdontcare.
4. Beach time: it's the first unofficial weekend of summer! In case you missed our post about what to pack for the beach with a toddler {read here}, this may come in handy for those who are braving the sandy shores.
